They’re Scotland’s beastliest obstacle races which force competitors to slide, dunk, swim, wade, climb and push themselves through freezing water, thick mud, steep and rocky terrain all for charitable causes.

This year, John Lawrie Group is delighted to support the fundraising Beast races, which take place at Loch Ness and Banchory in September, by providing two, brightly coloured decommissioning containers which will be filled with water and placed on the course for competitors to overcome.

The two Beast races look certain to build on last year’s successful events held at Knockburn Loch, near Banchory and Aldourie Castle, south of Inverness, where thousands of racers tackled gruelling 10km courses which included 30 challenging obstacles. It’s not all about the racing though. Both races will be a great spectacle and also a fantastic family day out, while also raising money for good causes. Supporters can expect to enjoy fine local food and refreshments while cheering on the brave racers.

John Lawrie Group was delighted to be asked to provide some of the obstacles and lend its support to such worthwhile – and beastly – fundraising events.
