An Aberdeen primary school football team has received a new training kit thanks to the generosity of north-east environmental services and metal reprocessing firm, John Lawrie Group.

The Aberdeen-based company has sponsored the training suits for Tullos Primary School’s football team. The £300 donation will ensure that the pupils are better protected from the elements as they warm-up for their matches.

Managing director, Vic Sinclair, said: “It is great that we’ve been able to support Tullos Primary in this way. John Lawrie is committed to being part of the local community and our donation helps to strengthen our links with Tullos Primary. The kit will help the pupils to be more positive about playing and should also help to increase the team spirit, and hopefully that will also be transferred to their performance on the pitch.”
