After three years spent both on- and offshore, Iain’s role moved to John Lawrie Group’s Montrose yard where he progressed to Operations Manager, dealing in both scrap and pipe, in 2003.

In 2010, Iain was promoted to the role of General Manager of Tubulars and then to the role of Director of the Tubular Division in 2014.

Iain has developed an enviable knowledge in the purchase and supply of new and reconditioned tubing, casing, OCTG, drill pipe, drill collars and related products on a worldwide basis, and has extensive international experience in managing a wide range of contracts and one-off packages for most of the world’s major oil and gas operators and related service companies, where customer service and speed of service is paramount.

As a result of Iain’s commitment to customer service, backed up by a full logistics support service, clients have come to recognise him as one of the leading traders in all types of steel tubulars.
